Why is raised lines with dashes in portrait layout so special? This paper is usually only printed in landscape orientation. It typically is used by younger children just learning to write. But many students struggle with handwriting & could benefit from the use of this paper, but they "don't want to standout when everyone else is using "regular" (portrait) paper. So we produce it in portrait layout. The solid lines have a small physical bump that you can feel when writing. This provides an extra cue and feedback where the line is in space. 250 sheets of 8 1/2"x11" paper in a pack.
