MLP- Mechanical Square lead pencil: Unique in design, the flat elliptical shape of this Mechanical Pencil prevents rolling, while the 0.9mm square lead is stronger than typical lead pencils so it discourages breaking and allows for darker marking and slightly heavier pressure. Fun & different mechanical pencil 08/07/2019

I tend to see many older students for handwriting issues. They feel like a "big deal" when I introduce this pencil as what carpenters, draftsman and architects use. The flat shape does promote a better grasp and keeps it from rolling off the desk. The thicker lead makes a darker line and tends to break less often, even for those who press too hard. And it comes with plenty of refills. Doesn't need sharpening. I like it.
